Walk north from downtown and the buildings shrink, the trees grow, and the streets turn to brick. This is the Old Northeast: 1920s bungalows, hex-block sidewalks, and a waterfront park that runs for miles.
What it's like to live here
Quiet, walkable, and a little proud of itself. Porches face the street on purpose. Neighbors know each other's dogs by name. You can bike to the Vinoy, Beach Drive, and the Saturday Morning Market without touching a main road.
